Frequently asked questions
What is 180°C in Fahrenheit?
180°C is exactly 356°F. Recipe charts may round to a nearby oven setting, such as 350°F. The calculator shows the unit conversion; follow the setting specified by your recipe when available.
What is 350°F in Celsius?
350°F is about 177°C. Some recipe charts round that to a conventional oven setting of 180°C.
What is 180°C conventional in a fan oven?
The 20°C guide used here gives approximately 160°C fan. Ovens and recipes differ, so follow specific instructions and avoid making another adjustment if the recipe already gives a fan temperature.
Does doubling a recipe double its cooking time?
No. The size and depth of the dish, pan and oven affect cooking time. Scaling ingredients does not calculate a new cooking time.
